Books go trough many hands in their existence. So too, For Every Atom, a museum guide, a monograph and a unique artwork in its own right.
Semâ Bekirovic made this publication in collaboration with Fries Museum as part of the exhibition For Every Atom. The books are used as museum guides and are continuously collected and treated by the artist with forensic powders. Every book reveals traces of its own history, of the production, museum visitors, and the artists hands, making us aware of the collaborative practice that form many of the artworks displayed in the book.
