Video HD, 1:30 in a loop, camera Ben Geraerts
I drop large styrofoam letters off an office building. I haven't intervened in their course of falling, only registered their movement. Because of their different shapes, each letter has its own specific way of falling. This film is a registration of a process on which I couldn't exert influence; the falling of an object. The title refers to the only way out of falling: landing. Landing is usually the scariest part of falling, although maybe the idea of falling forever is even scarier.
